Desarrollo del lenguaje académico para el aprendizaje de las ciencias: revisión de estrategias pedagógicas

Abstract
El lenguaje académico desempeña un papel fundamental en el aprendizaje de las ciencias, al facilitar la comprensión conceptual, la interpretación de evidencias y la comunicación del conocimiento científico. El objetivo de esta revisión bibliográfica fue analizar la evidencia científica sobre las estrategias pedagógicas que favorecen el desarrollo del lenguaje académico en la enseñanza de las ciencias. La búsqueda se efectuó en las bases de datos Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC y SciELO, complementada con Google Scholar. Se incluyeron artículos publicados entre 2015 y 2025, en inglés y español, relacionados con el desarrollo del lenguaje académico en educación científica. Tras el proceso de selección se analizaron diez estudios que cumplieron los criterios de elegibilidad. Los resultados muestran que las estrategias con mayor respaldo incluyen la enseñanza explícita del vocabulario científico, la lectura disciplinar, la escritura para aprender, la argumentación basada en evidencias y la integración del lenguaje académico en las actividades de indagación científica. Se concluye que el desarrollo del lenguaje académico debe asumirse como un componente transversal del currículo de ciencias, lo que plantea la necesidad de fortalecer la formación docente e impulsar investigaciones en contextos latinoamericanos que evalúen la eficacia de estas estrategias en diferentes niveles educativos.
